the hat

Meg is in love with this hat. If it is not on her head, she is carrying it around like a purse (it has a chin strap) over her arm - putting things in it, hanging it on the kitchen cabinet knobs and over our toes when we are lying on the couch. It makes me smile every time I see her in it. (It also completely reminds me of her older cousin Elise...I will try to find a photo of Elise wearing it.)
