James McBride is a fantastic writer. I'm actually reading his new one Song Yet Sung right now and it's terrific. Definitely read Miracle at Saint Anna too....I LOVE your blog Marie!

I think I am the last person to have heard about this book. Where have I been? It is hard to put down - one of the best I've read in a long time.
