roasted brussels sprouts

Brussels sprouts are in season now, which means it is time to make this recipe. It is so easy and so good. I've never had brussels sprouts any other way, and I don't know why people make such a stink about them (although I have heard that they aren't good after they've been frozen). We just had these for dinner but I'm planning on making this recipe once a week until they are no longer in season.

Sorry Mer, I know why they make such a stink out of them! I love almost every vegetable, but we tried those vile weeds again the other night - same result as always! But of course, my #2 liked them... :)

Horizon, you should seriously try this recipe!! Do they come in your weekly basket? If so, you have nothing to lose!

Yes, that looks like the one we tried. I'll admit, the outside tasted great...but it was like a nicely wrapped present with coal on the inside! I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I finally tried them and mmm-mmmm-mmmmmmmmmm, they're so yummy this way. It's like cabbage and cauliflower had a baby. Yum!
