As I gear up for the Tallahassee Half Marathon, I thought I'd look for something inspirational to read, and boy did I find a good one. It is a fascinating and true account of the author's quest to learn about an elusive tribe of native people in Mexico who can run better than almost anyone else - for days without stopping, wearing bad shoes, with hardly enough to eat, and dodging drug cartels. As I huff and puff through my 11-minute-miles, this gives me something to think about.
