In an earlier post, I wrote about how I have been putting a little more effort into the yard, meaning about once a week I spend maybe an hour at most. A few weeks ago I weeded a scrappy-looking section of the front yard and this morning I received this lovely surprise as my reward:

For almost 2 years this has never bloomed. I didn't even know that this was a flowering plant!
